Timberwolves' Nemanja Bjelica (foot) out for the season
Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Nemanja Bjelica (left foot) will miss the rest of the season.
An MRI revealed the injury and the team will provide updates on the specifics. This is a really tough blow for the Wolves, who vastly improved on defense and have run an air-tight rotation with Bjelica. In the second half on Wednesday, Shabazz Muhammad played 16.1 minutes while Brandon Rush saw 13.4.
When active, Bjelica was averaging 6.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. His -1.6 nERD was outside the top-300 in the NBA.
