Kevin Durant (calf) ruled out for Game 3 by the Warriors

Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant (calf) has been ruled out for Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday.

What It Means:

Durant last played on May 8 after suffering a calf strain. He does not appear close to returning, but the Dubs are holding out hope he can make an appearance during the finals. With Klay Thompson also questionable to play, Steph Curry and DeMarcus Cousins will have their work cut out for them against the Toronto Raptors. Andre Iguodala will likely continue to start on Wednesday.

Durant averaged 26.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game during the 2018-19 regular season.
