Clippers reportedly acquiring Ivica Zubac from Lakers
The Los Angeles Clippers are acquiring center Ivica Zubac and forward Michael Beasley to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for forward/center Mike Muscala, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Marcin Gortat was waived on Thursday, so Zubac will likely work as Montrezl Harrell's primary backup at center for the Clippers. He recorded 19.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per-36 minutes for the other Los Angeles team this season. Beasley is also expected to be released.
Zubac averaged 17.5 FanDuel points over 15.6 minutes in 33 games (12 starts) for the Lakers this season, with 8.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks per contest.
